If you’re over 30 you can remember a time when people didn’t have GPS in their cars. We navigated on a wing and a prayer—and by the early 2000s a print out from Mapquest. But today’s generation will never know the joy of trying to figure out the fastest way to get to Detroit from Phoenix. And they’ll never face the fear that comes when you realize that the shortcut you took was actually a “ranch road” which means you’re now driving your GEO Prism over an unpaved road with rocks the size of basketballs straining at every mile to tear out the undercarriage of your car. Ahh…the good ‘ole days.
